Ford 2120
I have a Ford 2120 with a loader shuttle shift hesitates and moves very slow only moves in Low or Mid ranges. I have changed Hydrolic fluids and Filters and now it seems to be worse. Can anyone give me any Ideas on what to look for.

My 1993 2120 op manual spec calls for Ford 134 hydraulic oil or equal, qty. is 34.9 quarts. Did you vary from either spec? Did you use a New Holland hyd filter? Is the hyd showing full on dipstick?
The hydraulics were getting slow or weak before you changed oil - is that why you changed? Have you had the tractor long to know if this is a new problem or slowly getting worse? Does the engine run smooth? Is the clutch strong? How many hours on the tractor?
Need more info.

I have to check with my mechanic about the filter and the grade of oil I do know that the oil stick shows full. Before all this the tractor would hesitate between forward and reverse otherwise shifted and ran just fine. I will find out the other information on Monday December 30th.

Thank you for getting back to me, we use this tractor for different jobs between two golf courses.

As Jim asks, is the clutch strong and is it adjusted. The 2120HSS uses a regular dry clutch along with a forward and reverse wet or hydraulic clutch. Adjustment could be out on one or the other, but I would suspect the main clutch.
