2120 noise in the front end

I found the problem today it is a bearing and gears out of the out side final drive. The outher side sounds fine but I am going to tear down before I ourder parts the bearing and gears are about $325.00 not to bad.I now have the front end off I am going to put a new oil pan gasket Iit leaks alittle so I will do it know Thanks for the input guys
