My brother in law called yesterday and said after a couple hours of mowing, he took a break, when he returned to mowing the tractor would click, but not turn over.
The battery and started were removed and tested and some relay was replaced. No change.
He tried connecting the + side of the battery to the + starter terminal and it still wouldn't engage. Based on that I would say bad starter or battery or a stuck float that filled the cylinder with fuel.
What else should he check?
Thanks,
Curt
