I have a 2166 club cadet and it won't start I have no lights and it won't even click at all brand new battery also. If u jump start it it will start. Once u jump start it it might start again but usually it won't without jumping it again. Before I start buying stuff I'd like to know where to start at since it seems like a wiring problem

I'd be most suspicious of all the high-current (starter and solenoid) connections. Disassemble, clean with a small wire brush, reassemble. Especially check the grounds.

It would help if you had a multimeter to check voltages. They can be purchased for $10 or less at Walmarts, TSC etc. Check the voltage at the battery terminals for 12.6 volts or close to that. Turn on the lights or attempt to start it and see if the voltage drops significantly. If that is good, check voltage between end of the positive cable on the starter terminal and the tractor frame. Try lights and starter again. If voltage drops there it is a bad battery cable or bad ground connection to the frame. If the voltage is good there is a problem with the starter and electrical circuit.

Did you find the problem? It's helpful to others to know what you found.
