2180 deck leveling, 42\" deck
I had so much fun that i never want to have that much fun again /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif. when I had the side to side blades with in 1/16" level,I go a head to do the 1/8th of a inch pitch from the front to back.Just when i though i was done!I recheck the the sides and the blades where off by.5 of a inch, after a two more times of this I got it ! what a( p. i. t. a.) what a difference in cut! like a even carpet cut sweet.IT was worth the the time to Do!,BY the way I found it akward to use a tap measure.for the blade tip,so I had the Idea to use 4 brade new no2 pencils, the blade tip would mark the pencil, easy to read and measure,I tried get the john deere bladetip measure, but they were out of them! any one else had trouble with the 42"deck leveling?
