Oil & Fuel 2210 Fuel Gauge

Does anyone with a 2210 have a fuel gauge that's a little off? It seems that my gauge likes to go quite a ways beyond full when the tank is full, and only goes down to 1/4 or so when it must be about empty. More an annoyance than anything, but it's done it since new.

Mine's pretty accurate.

"F" on mine is about the 2 3/4 gallon mark (a guess). It'll take much more than that. The owners manual says it has a 5 gallon capacity, but that would have to be from bone dry to top of the opening.

It does go to empty.

The fuel gauge on my 4310 is sporadic at best and my guess is that this is common for most tractors. I don't know where the refill is on the 2210, but on the 4310 it is on the top of the hood, so it is real easy to look into to the tank and see if it needs fuel.

Along with that, if I have more than a couple of hours of work to do, I fill up in the morning and I know that I can go all day without refuelling.

My gauge is pretty accurate. It drops kind of fast around the 1/3 left in tank mark but other then that it's working fine.

I can put 2 1/2 gallons in when it's about at the 1/2 way mark--pretty accurate.

Mine is good too, in fact it is much better than the X585 I had. That was really erractic.

Likewise with Lobo mine goes down faster as it gets emptier. but pretty darn accurate. when it gets down to the red I head for the shed. My wife ran it dry once so we know it goes all the way down to E.
