I love the 2210 ,with 50 hrs and about 2mos old you can tell I do use the tractor . I was removing some top soil the other night and When I have the FEL on and running 2500 or higher rpm , at times it just seems to run out of lifting or running power , it will not go forward (IN LOW Range) and at the same time will not lift the bucket or curl the bucket just makes a different noise
Also I have noticed when i have the bucket on about a 15 or 20 deg angle to do back blading the bucket will move the first time I try and go in rev. After that the bucket seems to stay in the postion I had placed the bucket.
Are these normal conditions or should I have this check out.

etcallhome,

How's the hydraulic fluid level? Could it be low? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

etcallhome,

I know JD uses break in fluids, but that is more for the diesel engine... Who knows, perhaps the service (which is due anyhow) will help? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

On my 4010 when scooping gravel, if I took too big a bite, it would stall and possibly spin the wheels. In most cases, the bucket would curl to get me out of the "jam". Sometimes, it wouldn't. The solution was to back up a tad. Could then either lift or curl the bucket.

This was well before the 50 hour service. There's a thread in here on folks doing their 50 hour service on 2210s, by the way. Their hydraulic filters are apparently different from the one on my 4010 that provided its own challenges.

Thanks for the come backs I talked with the dealer tonight while picking up oil and filters and he had not heard of anyone saying they were having this type trouble . He also said he would mention this to the service dept. tomorrow morning .
I let everyone know if and when I find out anything

etcallhome,
Please let us know. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
I too have the same problem when I back drag. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
When I put the bucket down and back up, the bucket will move flat (or near flat). Not every time. So, I mentioned it to the dealer at less than 3-10 hrs (can't remeber) but he did not care. He said... does your Front Blade (which uses the same valves) have any up-down-left-right problems? And it does not.
He simply reminded me of the Regeneration Function. After turning off the Regeneration Function, it is much worse. The Regeneration Function is used because when you have a heavy load and dump the bucket, the pump can not pump oil into the cylinder as fast as gravity is opening the cylinder- thus it gets air??? in them. The Regeneration Function puts the oil being compressed into the side being drawn.
I don't see why any Deere product should have this problem.
I have posted this issue here when my 2210/210 was new and no one knew what I was talking about. Maybe there is something wrong with mine too?
We are at the mercy of our dealers and some should really get their heads out of their a$$es.

One last note... I am going to try to switch the lines so <font color="blue">left-right stick</font> does raise-lower and <font color="green">forward-back</font> of stick does dump-curl. I tried before but my mind just could not do it and thus the experiment yielded nothing. I do believe the problem is in the cylinders anyway.

I did my 50 hr service the other night on the 2210
What everyone has said about getting the screen filter out was true. Next time shouldn't be as bad.
I tried a few things to see if my noise was still there. and it is
Going up about a 35-45 deg incline about `5' ft in length w/FEL and full loaded ballast box and in 4x4 . I tried in low and high range Both about 25RPM Low range no problem in High range it went about part way then just all but stopped moving and I thought the engine would stall . I gave just a little more throttle. The black smoke came and I started moving again and did make it up the rest of the grade.
The bucket still will move just a bit when first trying to back blade. Help !!!!!!!! Am I asking to much or is this normal
