I have encountered my first problem.
I have had a squeak in the front end. I have had the front loader on most of the time trying to get my stuff ready for winter. I thought the squeak was the frontloader resting on the mounting arms.
Lastnight, took off FEL to do some mowing. Still making noise. Pulled back in garage and greased everything for the third time in 87 hours.
Back out mowing, still squeaking. Raised up front end and it is the axle pivot bushing. Seems pretty tight to get the axle to pivot and it does squeak.
I regreased, until I could not get anymore grease in the bushing. I could not get the grease to come out anywhere. Finished mowing and still squeaking.
The manual says grease every 50 hours, unless severe duty. Maybe I went to long, but am still under the 50 hour per greasing time.
Anyone else have a squeaker? Do you think it will go away?
Might have to make a trip to dealer.....

After 95 hours, I noticed the same squeak for the first time. The reason I first noticed it now I guess is since this is the first time I used it without mowing. Probably been there for a while but never heard it with the mower running. It definitely sounds like it's coming from the front axle pivot. I haven't looked into it yet but it will get some more grease before I move it again.

I was begining to wonder if I was the only one. Let me know if yours will go away.
I have not used mine yet this week, but, will try and shove some more into it before I use it again.

I find I have have to gease that point every ten hours when I do the FEL to avoid the squeek. Every Time I hear that noise I just grease every thing and all is well after that. Maybee you just need to drive on some uneven ground a bit to let some grease work its way around the pivot point. Dave

I'm at 50 hours and no squeak, but I have probably only used the FEL for 10-15 hours, the rest being mowing. I am a bit of a lubrication freak so I lubed the whole tractor at 10 hours, 25 and now again at 50, maybe the extra grease has kept the squeak away.

Suggestion - raise the front axle off the ground with the FEL and then (carefully) grease the front axle pivot, might get more grease in the area where metal-on-metal contact occurs when the weight of the tractor is normally resting on the front axle.
