<font color="green">Sorry to bring up an old topic that may be a painful reminder for some of you about the problem a number of us then new 2210 owners experienced when the first 2210's rolled off the assembly line and went into use.
I know there are now many more 2210 owners out here on TBN and since I haven't heard more about hydraulic fluid leaks around the top link plate I am thinking that maybe John Deere fixed the problem in later production runs.
What has been the experience of those of you who have bought 2210's in the past half year.
For those of you wondering where the leak occurs see http://www.tractorbynet.com/forumfiles/237505-hydleak01b.jpg for a picture previously posted by Bigpete. The leaking is from around the plate above where it says TUFF TORQ.
My 2210 is leaking again from what I saw the last time I used the tractor to remove snow from my driveway. It is not leaking as bad as before, a dull wet dirty appearance instead of the shiny oily appearance as before. That tells me it is a pretty slow leak.
Is a minimal amount of leakage something to expect around tractor transmission seals? I'm a bit reluctant to send the tractor back to have this problem fixed again and run the risk of a worse leak after the dealer's serviceman takes it apart and puts it back together.
