2210 Transaxel fan

I knew it would happen, I broke my little white fan that is attached to the main drive shaft. Has anyone come up with a good way to protect the fan?

I believe here or somewhere else on the web someone has made a part for that or I'm thinking of the tranny filter. In either case, be aware ynot to put something in there to restrict too much air flow towards the tranny.
