2210 vs 4010 which is better? Any Common Problems with them?

HI All,
I have been looking for the past couple month for a tractor.
I have narrowed it down to just 4 models, but I think I will be ending up with one of these two tractors (2210 or 4010).
Any opinions on the 2210 vs 4010 in terms of with would be a better tractor?
I would be getting it with a MMM and a FEL.
Has anyone heard, seen, or experienced any common problems with the JD 2210 and 4010.

I can not tell you to much about the 2210 but I can tell you that I am real satisfied with my 4010 (80 hrs) This machine has done plenty more for me than what I expected it to do! I did look at the the 2210 after I purchased my unit & thought that it looked more like an oversized garden tractor. Again, I can not say enough good things about my 4010! I have about 4 acres & have been using it to clear the majority of the trees off the land, move dirt, remove stumps & numerous other operations. I have used this machine extremely hard in the last 4 months, I have dented both fenders, had a tree fall on the hood (I bailed off or it would have got me) & broke both rear lights. This tractor has performed without a glitch! I will be happy to answer any specific questions you have! I do not think you will go wrong with any of the the tractors, after all they are both green! I have been happy with my 4110 410 FEL filled R4's with about 30hrs so far. I remember going into the dealer shortly after the 2210 came out , and for a few dollars more then the 2210 you could get into a 4010. Get the most tracotor for your money.

Go with the biggest you can afford - the 4010!

The J.D. 2210 has a bigger engine an more HP then the J.D 4010,
The physical size/weight between the tractors is close but the
2210 has smaller tires...

J.D 4110 is also similar in size but heavier with larger tires plus
a few extras...

J.D 4010, 47 cu.in., 18.5 eng. HP, 14 PTO HP @ 3000 RPM

J.D 2210 61 cu.in., 22.5 eng. HP, 18 PTO HP @ 3000 RPM.

J.D 4110 61 cu.in., 20 eng. HP, 17 PTO HP @ 2600 RPM

Done from memory which is not always 100% accurate...

I think the 4110 has 25 hp and 20 PTO

I was faced with the decision to get a used 4100 or a new 2210. Both about the same price. I went with the 2210 because of one word, warranty. Hp is all relative - you want to compare something, look at loader specs. The 4100 series will win, but the 2210 is a sweet little tractor that will move some serious material, I can assure you.
