230v elec pressure washers

Wondering how many, if any, are using 230v mobile/wheeled pressure washers? Thoughts, opinions, regrets? Considering the 5hp northern tool item 1573021; 3000psi, 2.5gpm.

I do. However "230V" is the standard electrical outlet power for us (and a lot of the world).

Mine's a Karcher, if that helps.

I used an elc. 220 -5HP for years worked very well .

It wouldn’t work very good for me because 220 volt outlets aren’t very common here. I’ve got a gas pressure washer that currently does all my pressure washing which is unfortunately a lot. I’ve got a 1.5 hp Baldor motor with a Cat pump on it that I bought at the right price. I intend on using it for quick jobs, but I’ve never put that setup together.

I have a 13HP gas Honda, driving a Cat pump at 4500 psi., with soap
It works well.
I also have a 1-1/2 electric motor driving a 1000 psi. pump, but ..... with HOT water (kerosene fired).
It is an old "Hotsy" washer that I rebuilt.
The 1000 psi. Hotsy (with soap) is my favorite by far, over the 4500 psi. cold water unit.
The HOT water makes an amazing difference!
