I take it you didn't bother to read through the instructions on the removals? It only took me 10 minutes the first time I unhooked the FEL, 2nd time, it was under 5 minutes.

BTW, you really only need the instructions once for the FEL & MMM, maybe 2 or 3 times for the backhoe, & after that, you can do it yourself. All the brands seem to have the same basic attachment designs. I hope you were just having a bad attachment day. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Well, some will argue that reading the instructions causes nothing but problems, so maybe you got some bad instructions.

It'll get easier as you get familiar with everything, and learn what positions to set everything in and all. I'd think the backhoe will always be the most difficult attachment to remove, but you should be able to get the FEL and mower on and off in under 5 minutes after 1 or 2 more attempts. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Well I just came in from replacing the front end loader..
That took 5 min.
I just hope the back hoe is so easy...

I don't know about the backhoe, since I don't have one yet on my 2300, but the FEL and MMM shouldn't take more than 5 minutes. I made some ramps to go over the MMM so I just "run over it " instead of trying to slide it in and out. Also I usually leave the MMM's drive shaft connected until I back away because it is a little easier to get at once the mower and lift arms are out of the way.

And no I didn't read the instructions. The dealer showed me how to handle the FEL and I worked it out on my own with the MMM.

Besides my Daddy always said "If all else fails, read the instructions". /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

That is the easiest way!! Back off and drive on!! My Dads Ford LGT 165 lawnmower deck has a similar set up too that. all pulley are countersunk into the deck, and there are little ramp type brackets on either side of the deck! It is a breeze!!

The Back hoe is back on took about 20 min had to use a bar to help re aline to brackets.. the tilt is the trick..
I had to disconnect one of the fitings as I could not get it to snap shut would not release took it apart the connected it then re screwed it back on all is well............
My be next time it will go a little better...
