My fuel guage is stuck on full. It goes down when the key is off but just goes to full when key is turned on. Does anyone have an idea how it works? Is there a float in the tank or is it fully electronic?

I looked up the parts picture and it is just a float type sender so I think it is is just stuck in the up position. The PO had let the tractor sit for quite a while and I drained the tank of some green looking fuel when I bought it. I am going to poke a coat hanger wire in there tomorrow and see if I can free it up.
I was able to get in there with a coat hanger through the fuel cap and free up the float arm. I am posting this to help the next guy. The float arm looks a bit rusty so my guess is that the tractor sitting a long time and the fuel went bad and had some water in it. I drained the tank and changed the fuel filter when I bought the tractor so this is just leftover damage. All is well now. I have a working fuel guage and a working tach.
