I hooked up a loader to move something and then unhooked it but now the mower, itself, will not raise and lower. It is resting on the wheels but won't move up and down. Any ideas about what I forgot to do?

Do you have independent lift or the three point lift. If you have the independent lift, make sure you are hooked to the right quick connect. If so, hook and unhook the connection to see if it was properly attached. I've never done it myself, but my son somehow managed to hook up the connector so it looked like it was connected but actually was not fully engaged.

If it is the 3 pt lift, make sure the valve under the seat is open. I had this problem right after I had my tractor delivered and it was the master lift cylinder was not sealing and so once it was down it would not raise up again. See if the 3 pt drawbars are raising. I could get mine to raise after tractor was off for a few hours but would not lift after 1 or 2 operations.
