I could really use a snow blade and also a box blade for back grading gravel and dirt this summer.
We have 4 sections of pvc pipe 24 inch diameter 4 to 5 feet long that will eventually get thrown out sitting in the get rid of pile. It's probably abut 3/4" wall thickness and pretty heavy stuff.
I tried searching for pvc plow but mostly turning up using it over edge of a regular blade.
Has anybody ever made the blade itself out of pvc? It won't cost me anything and I'm sure I can fab up some angle iron brackets or whatever I need to attach it. I'm just curious if it will hold up or will crack and break when pushed hard or hit driveway cracks or rocks if used for back of a box blade?
If that doesn't work I can cut some steel 55 gal drums to use but those have ribs and kinda thin steel so I'm leaning towards the pvc.
