Hi, I have a 2400qt loader I need to make mounts to fit my David Brown 990. It has a cross-tube for the rear mount. It seems the only thing holding this tube to the tractor are 2 U-bolts. Can any one confirm this? Thanks
From the diagrams on German bliss that is all that holds it, seems like a lot of weight for a couple of U-bolts even if they are 50 bucks each. Hopefully I will find one I can look at, I don't wanna hurt myself.:duh:
Well, I was not able to find one to look at, No one seems to have any idea what it mounts like, no pictures, nothing. So I finally just picked up some metal, 10ft of 1/2" x 5" for the sides. I am going to go by the "Messick's" Bracket Kit P/N 24H40340 (For Case/David Brown 990, 995, 1210) drawing the best I can. No idea of the accuracy or actual the measurements. I have measured my bolt holes, that will be the easy part. I am going to make the rear brackets a little different.
So, Its all mounted, I simply tapped the camel hump for hydraulics, everything works great... except I have to pull the lever to curl the bucket for the three point lift to lift.
