Does anyone else have this issue? Looks like I'll be removing the QA's and building up the face of the forward stops. So far it doesn't appear I have damaged the finish.

Is the QA device a New Holland as well? If so, make your dealer aware of this so he can write a concern on the ASSIST system. If there are a bunch of bad weldments out there, NH needs to know about it. I have not seen this problem, or heard anyone mention it.

I meant the male end of the QA. I'll need to remove that to get at the stop-blocks underneath. I'm going to forward this to my Sales guy. Not worth having them fix it because of the transit issues (50 miles), but they should know, I agree.

I don't know anything about your selling dealer, but in general, this type of thing should go directly to the service manager. Email photos if possible. It's easy to hang onto the salesman, but the sooner you build a relationship directly with the service dept, the happier everyone (including your favorite sales guy) will be.

Careful, that's an easy way to bend a rod hitting like that.

**BUMP**

I never did have anyone else with this FEL say they are having the issue?

Local service guy wanted pics to send in to NH. I will fix it myself, and he wanted pics of that as well.

I THINK I will add another layer, protruding beyond the original piece of the QA male end that comes into contact with the stop block.

I would have the dealer pick it up and make the repair at their expense. The tractor is under warranty isn't it. This way if you have any future issues with the loader they can't blame it on what you did.

I don't foresee any issues, as the "fix" is identical to what is already there. It's not worth the hassle of having them make a 100mi round trip or being without my tractor for an undetermined amount of time.

Typically, transportation to/from the dealer is not covered, even for warranty work. However, if your dealer has a service truck with a welder (mine does), they might come and fix it. Worth a call.

It seems to me that you have some really valid issues, and it would also seem that others with the 240 TL would have the same ones. Have you checked with username "Thumper & Buttercup" by PM? His tractor is fairly new and has a 240TL loader, but is used mostly by his wife I think.

I believe the older 14LA/15LA loaders didn't have this problem since they were built by a different manufacturer. On my 16LA, there are no stops and the hyd bucket cylinders just bottom out. Yours surely hits before it bottoms out and I'd expect that to be the case for all 240TLs.
