Some filter bases have a bleed screw, usually takes 9/16 wrench. Most important is 5/16 lower bleed screw on injection pump, must have ALL air out at this screw. Top cover bleed screw not as critical as it removes trapped air so internal gov linkage does not rust. Once lower screw is has clear flow loosten line nuts at injectors, crank as if starting, when fuel is at injectors retighten and start engine. Check OP manual if unsure, always start at tank first, then filters, then injection pump. May also need to bump engine over a little if cam lobe on supply pump is holding lever up, hand lever will not work if cam stops in full stroke spot. Hope this helps, let us know if you have trouble.
