Are you reinstalling those crazy rings after you tighten up the turnbuckle? I quit using them and just use a rubber tie strap to keep them tight.
I was at my dealer yesterday and noticed the nice setup that comes on the 3000 series. I wish we had that setup. JC

I put a long clip through the threaded rod, in the hole provided, in the center of the turn-buckle. This prevents the turn-buckle from rotating more than approx a third of a turn. I haven't had a problem since. I do use the rubber bungee to keep inward tension an the arms all the time.

I use a rubber bungee hooked from one turnbuckle to the other so they won't turn. That works fine.

Plumber,
Good advice from the other guys here so far. I also have a 2520 and one of my attachments is a Woods rake. I initially had big problems with my R4's rubbing when using the rake. I found it a huge improvement to unbolt the 3PT pins on the rake and swap them to point in (they worked fine pointed out with my old 755). Now I have plenty of clearance and hookup is also much easier. I also use some bushings and/or large washers on the 3pt pins to fill up the 1-2" space once mounted on the lower arms. This prevents shifting and helps keep things snug. Don't know if these things will help but they made a big difference for me.

Also, make sure that it's not the barrel adjuster on the right link arm that's coming loose. Mine came loose once and I realized it when I noticed that I had been dragging the left side of my ballast box thru the weeds. I torque'd the nut down good and haven't had any other problems.

Had same problem with the 4115 I traded for a 3520. My fix was
to tighten things normally and then take a rubber/neoprene hose section
2-3 inches long and slice it so it can be opened up. The ID should
be close to the OD of the 3-pt rod screws. Placed the hose section
tight above the turnbuckle and clamped in place with a radiator
hose clamp. Worked without any faults for 2-3 years - until
I felt the need for a wee bit more power, the 3520.

Good luck,

Lon

I have bungees attached between the ROPS and each turnbuckle. Threw away those silly little cotter pins supplied with the turnbuckles soon as I had to move them.
