2520 62D deck and 54" snowblower

Just got my 2520 home yesterday with the 62D deck and loader on it, brought the blower home in the crate so I could use the tractor. Anyway, went to install the blower today and the side plates that mount to the tractor are different than the ones that are on it for the mower. It would seem to me that there should be one side plate that works for both implements as the 2 sideplates won't work together. Has anyone else got this combination that they could take a picture of the sideplates on their 2520 to show me, or do they really expect that you will change sideplates every fall and spring?

Hi,

There is a sideplate kit for the blower/62D combo that your dealer should have ordered for you. It allows a "tool-less" changeover between the deck and front hitch.

Thanks, they definitely didn't supply me with that, so I'll call my dealer Monday and have them get that. :thumbsup:

By the way, before you run that blower, please be SURE to check the gear oil in the gear box. I bought mine in the crate, and there was almost no lube in the gearbox.
