I talked to a dealer today about the 2520. He did not have one and had to look it up on the Deere site.
A question came up and he did not know which way to go. It seems as if you can get a manual deck lift or hyraulic. He did not know without seeing the tractor if extra hydraulics were needed or not.
Bear with me on these terms, because I know nothing about hooking up implement under or on the front of a tractor. JC

Hi. If you go with the hydraulic lift then you plug it in either at one of the included DSCV ports (joystick for loader operation typically) or you can purchase the 3rd scv and connect it there. The latter being prefered by me since it allows me to keep the loader on with full control of it (joystick) and raise and lower the mower as needed (side lever) Cost was about $200 on my 3320. Other 3rd party hydraulic options also exist.

Or you can also use the mechanical lift option (no hydraulic). Sometimes though that option will cause you to not be able to have the mower deck on and have lift/lower capabilities of the 3point hitch as the 3pt is what controls the up and down of the mower deck. The solution here is to pin up the mower deck when it is on and the 3point hitch is used.

Good luck. I have a 72" MMM 7-iron on my 3320 and use the 3rd valve to raise and lower it. No mechanical lift option on a 3320/7-iron combo. What is $200 anyway on a 15-20K tractor (~1.3%).
