2520 mid mount 62D or 72\" mower?

Does anyone have any idea if there is any cut quality difference between the 62D and 72" mid mount mower? I intend to use the tricycler mulching kit on the mower.

72" sure is a big mower. Will it fit in all the places you will use it? The larger the deck, more of a chance for scalping your yard on high spots, etc. I would seriously consider the 62.

If ddivinia's advice/limits are not issues and you have a bunch of acerage the extra space will make a difference though. Adds up quick. I like the 72" on my small 6 acers.

I have 1.5 acres at my house and another 5 acres where we camp. The ground is mostly flat, so I don't think scalping will be an issue. However, I got to thinking that the width might affect trailering the tractor to the other site 50 miles away.

I know the 62D deck hasn't been out long. I was really wondering if anyone had any comment on how it worked with the mulching option. I've seen other posts here indicating the 72" mower worked well both with and without the mulching attachment.

With my 3320 my prefered implement size is 72" so anything I tow has that limitation. How big a rear blade, BB, rake, etc will you ever want?
