My 2520 with the 62" MMM deck rips up the lawn. I have had the new round profile wheels put on it and it still does it. Not as bad as the old square profile wheels, but it still does it. There is not enough offset in the axel to make it caster correctly. Today I put on the three bag power bagger system. You are supposed to run the right set of wheels 1 hole lower to help support the weight of the blower. Now it is worse again because the deck doesn't sit level with the power blower on it so the right wheel tears up the lawn. It gets sideways and won't straighten out till it makes a trench. Does anyone have a fix for this or have they had any luck with JD. I have another complaint into them but haven't heard back yet.
I love all the attachments with the exception of the deck and bagger system.

Wings; Wings; My 7 Iron 72" deck on my 3520, does not gouge my lawn and I am mowing on some slopes in addition to my flat areas. Sounds like the deck is not properly leveled (also check the adjustments for front to back) and needs an adjustment by an experienced tech. Another local dealer should be able to help you out with this if your current dealer cannot.

BTW, I am running my unit with Turf Specials so that my tires do not make long lasting tracks in the grass when its wet. Are you running turfs too?

A lot of people set the wheels the opposite of how they should, they shouldn't be set low and dragging the ground as a matter of course but more set as high as they can without scalping the lawn. I still have the original (squared) wheels and don't have much of an issue - but I do have a pretty flat lawn in most spots.

Nuru is right.. After you put the power flow on you need to re-level your deck. You can buy the leveling tool at JD for about $10. Once you level your deck, I see no reason why you should run the wheels at different hights. I don't and I have the MCS too. The other thing is the deck is not suppose to be sitting on the wheels when you mow, they are supposed to be above your cutting height and touch only when you come to uneven ground. I think this is the main reason people have problems.

I have the older square wheels, with the zerks on the wheels and shafts.. I have no problems with mine.
