As noted in another thread, I tested a 2555 today. Another thing I noticed is almost no air flow through the rear 4 vents even with the front four vents closed with the fan on high. I blow a lot of snow with a 3 point blower - those of you who also do this know that a rear wiper and good air flow over the back and side glass is probably mandatory. Was this a problem with this particular tractor or is that how the HVAC vents work on the 2555? A/C didn't work on this tractor either. Weird.

The four rear vents are the air return for the dual blower motors in the front. Close those, and you will lower the airflow. Both blowers [ two of the blowers you normally have in a truck or auto running in parallel ] blow air out the four in the front.... The center two being up by the windshield and the outer two extended back nearer the operator/side glass.

Ah, that explains it. Thanks. I did stick my fingers up in the vent and thought i felt a vacuum - thought that couldn't be right. Well, liking it less....thought the engine was way-loud in the cab too compared to others. The search goes on.

The ' hunt ' is a big part of the fun. Never a bad day when you get to drive around and poke your nose into new tractors. :)
