Mahindra 2555 HST CAB
Looking at either one of these. Not sure if I'm confused or one of the dealers I went to was. He indicated the 5010 was a Tier 4, but Mahindra's web site indicates it a Tier 3 (which means it's older, no?), but he said it's a 2015.

Anyhow, I've looked at 2 dealers within 50 miles of me and none of them seem to offer "tractor packages" that I'm seeing on-line (Tractor, trailer, 2-3 implements, etc.). I don't mind a bit of a drive to get something, but it's a bit odd that they don't seem to offer it. The one dealer I went to Saturday said the 5010 (mentioned above) was $38,500 with FEL, but that doesn't match up with MSRP on Mahindra's web site (dealer is higher).

While I'm new to these forums, the fact that it *seems* I'm getting misinformation from a dealer already concerns me.

Any of you guys have a 2555 or 5010 HST? What is your experience thus far? And how about pricing?

Look forward to responses and I appreciate this site!

Good Morning Chris.
Sounds like you have gotten a bit of a run around. Mahindra offers a 5010 cab, this is a tier 3 tractor with a TYM engine in it! great tractor tons of power! their is no such thing as 2015 5010. Now the 2555 Cab is a tier 4 tractor that offers a MCRD Mahindra engine, with no Diesel Particulate Filter aka DPF, or DEF Diesel engine fluid. this means the Mahindra does not have to go through any regeneration periods like the other Manufactures to date. The new MCRD engine, has a tone of power, runs quieter and is a great product!! I have both on my lot, and i have tested the 2 side by side. I personally am really impressed with how the new engine responds. I can tell a difference with out a doubt. Now that being said you find a higher price on the new Mahindra 2555 due to the new engine.
I hope this helps!

Thank you. Sounds like you're a dealer...if so, can I ask you a question? I'm being told by one of the dealers that I have to "pay" for the 0% financing. It's like $3,900! I was not told this by the other dealer, but I will clarify.

No problem Chris,
Yes I am a dealer and yes, you are correct there is a direct cost for 0% for all of the series from Mahindra some higher, and some less. It depends on the series and the incentives Mahindra is offering us each month. easiest way to explain it you are paying for your interest up front in the sales price. what we show our customers is 3 options 0% the rock bottom rate and the cash price, the cash price can still be financed, just at a littler higher rate. with that being said, you have to look at the total cost difference between the 3 options, and determine if you are going to pay the loan all the way out, or pay it off early, we recommend to the customers to take the rock bottom rates or the standard rate(cash price rate) and save the money upfront and save on the tax's as well. That being said if you know you are going to pay it all the way out the 0% will work out cheaper. but just remember you will have to pay that 0% price off no matter what if you pay it off in 2 years or go the full length of the loan.
I hope this helps! and Admin, i hope that is not over stepping my bounds, if so I am quite sorry, and if so chris message me and I can explain more!

I was concerned and called Mahindra directly, their finance department. I was told that there is a dealer cost to the various finance levels, but it's up to the dealer to pass those along or not.

Sent you a PM, I wasn't aware that anything I asked was not allowed, I apologize. NOT trying to get anyone in trouble, just trying to understand something that is completely new to me. I'm still going to visit the Kioti dealer today though. I want to compare.
