On my 2555, there are two connectors going to the gauge module. One is a 12 pin, and the other is a 14 pin. On the 14 pin there are two rows of 7 pins, with a black wire on one end. On the other end from the black wire, there is a yellow wire with a brown trace [ Y/Br in wire diagrams ]. This wire is powered by the HST controller and puts out voltage to light up the " R " light when you press the reverse pedal. Not knowing what is inside the controller, and not wanting to take a chance... I ran a wire from the Y/Br to the rear of the tractor [ grommet thru fire wall/ran in split loom/etc ]. I attached this wire to the input [ labeled trigger in the picture ] to a relay module I bought on Ebay. This one was US based for $5 and is one that need a high voltage to turn the relay on, as adversed to a ground applied to turn it on. The newer ones you can get from ' the overseas production facilities ' are currently going for $1, and these newer ones have a jumper so you can select whether you want the ground or voltage to turn it on. Anywhilst, I used this relay to power the beeper, and now I can annoy people at will. The power comes from a rocker switch in the right cab upright so I can control the noise.... I toyed with putting some type of switch on the pedal itself, but decided to stay away from it and do the dash wiring thing. Again, the HST controller powering the dash bulb may be capable of powering the beeper, but I would not chance it....
