I have a 2555 Shuttle with Backhoe I only have 35 hours on it. This past weekend I was working moving my winter manure pile and ran into a issue with my loader. After working for a while I noticed that my loader wouldn't fully dump the bucket past the vertical dump point. What I mean is I couldn't get the bucket to go past the straight down position, to bounce the stuck material out of the bucket, it just sort of hung there and the control lever seemed not to respond. It was like the hydraulics would not respond or there wasn't enough fluid in the system. I checked the fluid level and it was right where it should have been on the dip stick. The only way I could get it to rock the bucket back was to increase RPM and that would cause the bucket to violently slam backward. I stopped for a while and let hydraulics cool down and then it worked fine for a short while, but then stated doing it again. When I pulled the hydraulic dip stick I didn't see any foam or anything that would indicate air in the system.
Can someone point me to the root of the problem here or is this another 2555 surprise?
