Anyone find a place to source LUG NUTS online? My local dealer is a bit small & rarely has them and they're a bit expensive.

If you know the thread diameter and thread pitch, you can surely get some automotive equivalents.

I've been to TSC, Ace, Lowe's, Runnings, etc. with no luck....

Not trying to be a smart *** but do you know how to figure out thread count, pitch and size? Most auto parts stores have lug nuts and tire stores have them for sure. Take one off and bring it with you to the store- one of the techs will be able to help- they will either tell you the size or more than likely have some for sale.

The last time I need lug nuts the store had a display with a bunch of lug bolts sticking out of it. You just tried to screw your lug nut on each one until you found the right one. Then the new ones were packaged right there.

You can be a smart ***** all you want, I'm a big boy and I can handle it...goes both ways, I can give & take! I do NOT know how to figure out thread count, pitch and size. I took a spare to each of the above stores and I saw lost stars in each of their eyes...did I go to the wrong stores? Should I be going to auto zone, napa, etc.?

Identifying Thread Pitch & Size - YouTube

This isn’t the best video but it will get you started. Napa or autozone will have all of the tools in the video and know how to help you out. Everywhere I’ve been NAPA has had good parts techs. Not saying it’s true there but that would be my first stop.

A big box hardware store would more than likely be no good. The lug nut has a tapered end to center the wheel on the stud.

If the auto parts store is too far a good tire store should be able to help. They are zipping tires on and off all day long and have spare lug nuts around. A truck or commercial tire store would be best- I’d avoid say a sears or Walmart tire department.
