Post 9 and 10 do a pretty good job summarizing the strengths of each model as far as practical application.
I don't know how much power the drivetrain is designed for, but it makes you wonder if MUSA would ever put a 55 HP engine in the 3550 in the future. Branson has a tractor that is heavier then the 2555 yet a little lighter than the 3550 and it is 55HP (5220R or H). 50 plus HP in what is still considered a compact is starting to blur the line between compact and utility.
