I have a 2565 that I purchased in 2018. The ac has stopped blowing cold and it is absolutely miserable in the cab in this heat. I went to add some freon to it, but my gauge won't fit the ports. There are no threads on the outside of the fittings, just a radiused groove. From what I have been able to find it is a system with r1234 in it, however the shop manual says it is r134. Has anyone had to recharge their system & knows what fittings to use & which refrigerant is the correct one to use?

I would " think" it is 134.
You can buy auto adapter at Amazon or auto parts store. You could buy can of refrigerant from auto store with adapter allready on it. If the adapter doesn't fit then you may have r1234

If it is a R1234YF system you can get small containers and hose connections just as you can for 134A it is much more expensive.
You can find conversion fittings but that is a very gray area and one the epa doesn't like it and says that you can't use different refrigerants.
You could research converting to R134A or R600 or R290 just be aware that the nay sayers will come out of the wood work

Tractors use an "automotive" system....unlike HVAC in houses. Your guage set just needs adapters which will snap on over the fitting(s). Pic is for 134a which is most likely what you need.
Note automotive a/c is not a closed system like a window a/c or refrigerator. ALL automotive systems leak to some degree. Think like 1 oz per year maybe more. They lose refrigerant through the compressor shaft seal, shrader valves, and rubber hoses. You should determine if its just a leak over time or an actual leak due to something damaged. The correct way is to recover the refrigerant in there and weigh it. Compare to what the sticker says is supposed to be in there. I would add 1oz of refregerant oil and charge it to spec. Your charging it by weight and verifying performance by pressure readings.
