3-Point Hitch 260 BH for 1025R john deerre

I just removed my BH and am trying to get brush hog attached. I am presently stuck half attached because the 3 pt hitch won't raise or lower. need help..

Did you connect the two hydraulic hoses, on the tractor, together after disconnecting them from the backhoe?

Yes.. tried again this morning and all is fine. I disconnected, pressed ball on female end to relieve pressure(wasn't any, I think it relaxed over night.) and reconnected. all works. I find it difficult to disconnect and connect the hydraulic connections. I am old and don't have the hand strength I used to.. Someone should invent a wrench that would help!!!
