I have a Ford 2600 dsl., I believe it is 38 engine horsepower. It did not come with a loader or rear remote hydraulics but the previous owner added both. The hydraulics are a little weak. It will not pick up a 5 foot finish mower or 6 foot brush hog up very high after the tractor warms up after running a while. It also leaks down, if I park it with the bucket up and pto attachement up, they will both be on the ground in a few hours.
I understand there is a pressure spring under the seat that might be needing checked out.
However, I have been told that my hydraulic pump may just not be up to the task of the additions since it wasn't made for that kind of capacity. The guy that told me that said it may always be that way unless I remove the loader and rear hydraulic setup. Does this sound right?
I have not put a pressure gauge on the hydraulic system yet, but I will.
My main question is about the capacity of the factory hydraulic pump and if the add-ons are to much for it?
