Anybody know what the retail prices are of the new Mahindra 2615,3015, and also the 2015? Also ,i have heard that these are the same as some Cub Cadet models. If that is true, does anyone know the price difference between the Cubs and Mahindras? Trying to see what the best deals are right now.
Thanks

Thanks for the prices. Can you tell me if the 3015 is a bigger tractor than the 2810? Would the 3015 handle a 2 bottom plow, a 5' bush hog and a 6' finish mower? Also , would the 2810 handle those implements too?
Thanks /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I don`t think pulling a two-bottom plow with the 2810 or 3015 is a good idea they are a little small for this. However they will pull a 5-foot rotary cutter and box blade just fine and when equipped w/loader it is a very useful compact tractor.

I don't have prices for the smaller Mahindras but here is what I got just this morning for a 3015 HST, 4WD, R4s and a loader:

$14,600

3510 same as above but with shuttle shift: $15,600.

I don't quite follow your logic, Outbacktractor. Been a lot of ground broken over the years with tractors like Super A's and JD M's pulling 2 14" bottoms. Granted, an HST is not a good choice for ground tillage, but I would be quite disappointed if it didn't have adequate power and weight.

Bob,
I'm with DS on this one. I also thing that you would need R-1's to be effective.

The 2810 has plenty of power for pulling a 2-bottom plow but without front weights and liquid in the rear tires this tractor with r-4 tires will lose traction in red georgia clay if you let the plow get about 6-8 inches in the ground. The 3510 however will pull it with no problem but it weighs approx . 800lbs. more than the 2810. This is just what i have seen on our test area here at the shop different soils may provide better results.Did not mean to start a dispute over this. Thank You. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hey, no problem here, OBT. Glad to have you join us.

Soil condition does play a big role in tillage implement size. Around here it's mostly loam, works well at 10-12 hp per 14" bottom for the smaller sizes. Good ole slick red clay would probably be a different story.

outback ... I think the poster is referring to the diffs between the 2810 and the new 3015HST (not the 3510).

Not so ironically, with the way manufacturers label their product's modeling schemes ... it takes a closer look to realize, for instance, that the 2810 is a beefier machine, less 2hp and a lil less lifting capacity than the new 3015 HST. It outweighs the 3015 by almost 500 lbs.
