Hope someone has some ideas of what to check. Dealer didn't have any suggestions.

My 2615 HST starts and runs in low range. When I try to use medium or high it will bog down and stall. I changed all the filters and fluids recently thinking maybe a clogging filter was restricting flow but that made no difference. Any ideas?

A lack of fuel could be gunk in the fuel tank right at the outlet-somewhat common. Rarely it's a collapsed fuel line.

I have a 1538 HST and never use high range. That's a driving down the road only gear. Medium range is just for moving on the property and plowing down hill. Low range for moving piles and doing most work. I don't have anything that runs on the PTO so I don't have any advice on that part. I say all this since even at 38hp I can bog down my machine like you describe if I'm in the wrong gear.

Maybe something stupid and simple as a stick underneath jamming the brakes on...?? My 1526 climbs hill pretty good in medium range if I keep the rpm's up around 2000. It's actually a pretty gutty little work horse with only a little over 25hp to work with. Please post what you find for us....!!! :)

That's exactly when I experience the bogging down, trying to get down the road on the property a little quicker. All work is done in low. I should be going up to the property end of the week so I will look into the fuel tank sediment possibility.

Certainly won't hurt to poke around and rule that out! I could only hope it will be something that simple. :^)
