I have a new Mahindra 2655 with 22 hours on it now. A little mishap pushing some brush and branches. A branch popped up just right and took out my fuel filter assembly. It hangs down low on tractor with no protection.

Does anyone or dealer know where I can get a Fuel Filter Head assembly for it? Mine busted off where it attaches to a bracket that attaches to engine. Part # 006008906B1 that is stated for it isn't the right one for my 2655. The spacing on mounting holes are only 1 inch and 1/2 on center & mine are 2 inches on center. Mine also has 4 ports with only 2 used. New part has 2 ports towards the front. Thank you.

You can likely call Bill's Tractor directly and he can hook you up. The site is limited in parts, but he can order the right part for you without guessing. He may even chime in if he sees this post.
(210) 649-1715 is the number I found.
I keep knocking off valve stems from the rims, and bent the **** out of my power steering lines on my 4530 so I feel your pain.

Thanks for the replies. So far no dealers seem to have the right part to fit mine. Part #006008906B1 is different than what came on mine which is confusing. What did Mahindra do?

What is different?
2655 gear or HST, cab or no cab?

Mine is a 2655 Gear no cab. The difference is the mounting hole spacing as stated in first post. Mine 2 inch on center other inch & half. Picture shows mine which is different from actual listing for mine. Thanks

I had trouble with my 4510 and the fuel filter being damaged by brush, saplings etc. Some of the Mahindras have the same in back of the tractor where it is protected. Removed the stock unit and put a heavy steel filter unit on. The fellow with the tire valve issues, had the same thing. Welded some fitted pipe around them to protect the same.

It sure looks like to me that the holes are slotted to accept the two different bolt spacings.

Bolts holes are slotted but still misses by a half inch. Came up with a used one(006008906B1) that was suppose to be for mine. Had to drill out holes since it used smaller bolts. Could only mount with one bolt as other hole completely misses. Will work temporarily until I find original head. Could drill out mounting bracket on tractor maybe but shouldn't have to on a New tractor. Sure am questioning Mahindra's if you can't get the right parts for them.

Can't understand why I can't get the right/same part that came on my new tractor. To ruffdog the slotted holes are on the head itself of my broken part but the mounting bracket on tractor are not slotted - they are a fixed 2 inch on center so a new head has to be the same. Part needed that came on tractor is a Bosch F002H20159 which doesn't seem to exist anywhere. Mahindra's???
