2720 Arrived Today - Pics

Hey yall,
I promised pics when it arrived.

Note - I originally ordered MMM with this unit, but told them to keep it when I learned of need to remove/re-install MMM-bracket to accomodate backhoe. As stated in a thread on TBN, I purchased an X500 instead of the MMM....you can see it slightly in some of these pics.

Tomorrow I am going to see Dickens-Of-A-Christmas with tickets previously purchased. It's a wonderful time.....but this means I only get to play, I mean work, in the morning before going

What should I do? Tell the family that these tractors are more important.....

Naaa, can't do that! Wouldn't even have these if it weren't for the support of my lovely better half! Heck, tractor(s) will be here when I get back right? Besides, got some much needed seat time on the X500 doin' leaf clean up today :thumbsup:

Yeah! It is pretty tight, you would not believe how much greese I had to rub all over the 2720 to squeeze her in there :laughing:

I'm hoping to get a small shed before long and move several items out of the barn that you really don't see in pics right now. There's a Baldor air-cooled diesel generator, 2-push mowers (JD & Craftsman), fairly large barrel style barbecue grill, 4-bicycles and behind the X500 is a Brinly PolyVac leaf vacuum system. It would be great to be able to have the X500 hooked up to the Brinly on one side of a shed and then have the push mowers, bikes and grill on the other. That would make sufficient room to put the 2720 more in the middle of the barn where I could access it from either side........oh the possibilities if money were not an issue :0

First task though - (after finishing leaf clean-up) use backhoe to trench from house to barn, lay conduit, then have electrician come and:
* run electric to barn
* hook lights up in barn (lights not installed yet..well, not bought yet)
* hook up generator and properly backfeed to house for emergency backup power.

Don't forget to fold the ROPS...(in case you did not see it, the day after we got our tractor I took out the garage door...)

If you get frustrated with the lifting capacity of the JD Forks, you can buy a lighter set that is nice. The JD forks are about 200-300 Lbs heavier, so thats 200-300 lbs LESS that your tractor can lift. Nice forks, but heavy. Just a FYI

Sweet tractor, I love my 2520, and yours should be the same with a few more ponies! :thumbsup:

Smart man ! My wife and I see eye to eye ............ she doesn't question my tractor / tool purchases, and I don't question her shoe / handbag purchases.:thumbsup:
