Tach, fuel, etc, gauges are blowing a fuse repeatedly. I change out the fuse, and get about 30 minutes out of the new fuse then it pops again. Not sure where to start really and there is no dealer nearby....for warranty service.

Thanks

When not in use, is the tractor outside? Maybe water in your wiring?

HI TYM Colorado!

Have you discussed this with your dealer? They should be able to assist you in resolving the problem, if not they can contact TYM Tractors for technical assistance.

As you said you have no closeby dealer, maybe posting on the TYM website in their forum area may produce results. Worth a shot..

I am a dealer for TYM in Louisiana. I hade a similar problem on a 273. Sounds to me like you have a chafed wire some where. Your Owners manual will have a wiring diagram in the back, use it to see what the fuse that keep blowing goes to. Then you can narrow your search down to that area. Let me know if you need any more help. david@monkstractor.com

Pull the dash covers off and look under the grey panel at the bottom you'll see a harness coming into the fuse block. Guaranteed a wire in there got chaffed.
My machine had the same **** issue. If you look into the engine bay up against the fire wall on the right hand side of the tractor while sitting on it , with a flashlight you should also be able to see the harness. Simple fix just move the harness completely under the metal panel.

Obviously after you splice and heat shrink the boo-boo.

I told my dealer and sent pictures to the main office , so they know about it. It's just a build error. I would also look under there and check even if you don't have an issue. Most are fine ...so simple , such a headache.

This happened to me today @ 170hrs. Thanks to this thread, it didn't take too long to find the problem.

My dealer went over all his stock (233-273's)after I posted my issues. He said he didn't find anymore with the issue , but I'm doubting he knew exactly what he was looking for.

Glad you found it quickly.....PITA.

Mine happened within the first 20 hours. Like I keep saying once the little bugs are worked out these machines are pretty nice. I see why it pisses people off though.
Stuff should have been tested and corrected before market, called beta testing. I thought they built Mahindra's smaller models? Seems these things like pre running them then flushing them would have been a routine.

Would have saved us owners some headaches.
