Buying Advice 2755, 3000 hrs, cab, loader, 4WD

Seller is asking $19.5K which is more than I've paid for any vehicle!

Anyway, just would like to know from those of you partial to John Deere, what the strengths and/or weaknesses of this tractor are or might be.

Not much information to go on except that some how you have gotten by with vehicles on the cheap.:laughing:

Seriously alot depends on the condition of the tractor but if it were me I would rather find one in this size range with a power reverser tranny if you anticipate doing loader work. I think a 5000 or 6000 series tractor would be a better long term investment. These have been available for quite a few years but are still newer than the 55 series.

One other question, how have you determined what size tractor you need?
