2810hst survey

I am trying to get to the bottom of something that has been nagging at me for a while.

1. Did your 2810hst come with a suspension seat or not and when did you take delivery of it.

2. Did your 2810hst come with a access step on both sides or just one.

I don't know if I got caught in a model year change or if I had the old switcharoo pulled on me.

Mine is just a simple seat, nothing fancy ., and I only
have a step on the left side.

I would be dangerous to have one on the right side as the
HST peddles might get stepped on when you climb on.
Even with the brake on , if it was running the machine could move.

I bought mine new three years ago. I don't believe the 10 series HST model has changed.

2810hst did not come with a suspension seat neither did the 2310hst. It did come std on the 3510 hst when it came out. The suspension seat from the 3510hst will bolt on. As far as your step question i have not seen a 2310hst or 2810hst come with 2 steps. Hope these answers help.

I have the same set up as you and Dave. The seat is comfortable enough for me. Even when I mow our field, I just don't go so fast it feels like I'm in some sort of race. I'd rather go at a reasonable pace and enjoy the seat time. I also agree with Dave about putting a step on the right, I think it would be a bit dangerous.

I don't exactly know about the seat.

Bought mine new about 2 1/2 yrs. ago. When I picked it up, the dealer told me there was a problem with the model seat on the tractor, which I sat on at the dealership and felt OK, and he wanted to be proactive so there wouldn't be "a nice tractor with a ragged seat" out there advertising for him.

Watched them take the seat assembly off a new 3510 and put on mine.

Never had a step on the right side. Probably best I don't, as I agree it would be dangerous.
