2910 hard to start

I have a 2005 Branson 2910, and the thing was very hard to start, it would belch out smoke and sound like it was running on one cylinder. I wouldn't evan try to start it in front of anybody. Well after a year of going around with my dealer in Seminole, Ok he figured out that some 2005 models went out with out the glow plug control. Sure enough mine didn't have it, it's a black box that mounts on the firewall passenger side engine compartment. The white plug with about 6 wires was just taped up there with nothing to go to, after I mounted the box and plugged it up everything works perfect.

Thought I would pass it along for anyone else who may be having this trouble.

Steve is a good guy? I like him real well. Everytime I have had a question, he has gotten me the answer. That is one of the main reasons I bought a Branson. I live outside of Maud.
No glow plugs, man no wonder your tractor had such a hard time starting. Surely Branson had a recall on that?
