Ok, the thrilled part is sarcasm, but honestly, here we go again. Are we headed to $4 a gallon again? Seems almost inevitable.

Breaking through that $3.25 mark is a huge psychological barrier, it seems to me. Suddenly really big round numbers start showing up again at fill up and it dawns on people. "Hey!!! It just took $50 bucks or $70 bucks".

price for diesel here in missouri, is 3.31 per gallon. i have a diesel pickup that is paid for, and am seriously considering getting rid of it due to getting reamed at the pump. it is such a racket, the price difference between diesel and gas. Historically diesel has always been cheaper than gas, but i am sure someone will give me a made up excuse why now its not. i get so sick of the made up excuses of the economists and the big oil guys. Seems like they use to at least try to hide their corruptness, but now its like, we are screwing you, nobody can stop us, so take it or leave it. The part that scares me is i expect that from the oil guys, but now it seems like everyone is jumping on the lets greed bandwagon. i guess they see that nobody is stepping up to put a stop to the obvious screwing the oil guys have given us, so ****, we might as well, all get in on the action. i guess a guy, could go on all day about it, but really what choice do we have. i know someone will chime in that we need this guy or that guy in office, but are we really to believe, that any of these guys is above the control of the big business, that really controls this country? just my opinion and my 2 cents.

Are you really surprised?
It was always inevitable.
I'm surprised it took this long.

Gas, utilities, food, is all through the roof with no ceiling in sight from what I can see.

Three years ago when the gas was up to 4$ a gallon I broke down and bought a small car.I was spending over 600 a month in gas on my silverado 2500.Sad part is it was cheaper to buy a car than drive
my truck. Now I only drive it on weekends or when needed. My wife and I used to hookup the camper and go every weekend now it's cheaper to get a seasonal.Go figure.

no, not really surprised, more disappointed and sick of how bad things have gotten. i know we still have a great country, and a quality of life, that rivals most other countries, but will we be able to say, that is true, for our kids and grandkids? i really doubt it. If you think about how fast this thing spiraled out of control, and doesnt seem that anyone can stop it, where will it end and what will be left? i saw the other day, that the big banks and other big corporations, are starting to pay out those huge bonuses and salaries again. unbelievable!!!!!!!!!! once again, screw the little guy, if he dont like it, tough!!!

:(Diesel $3.50...........Gasoline 87 octane $3.00 here in eastern Kansas (BP brand). I just got layed off a couple years ago and the annual pay increase never stayed up with inflation as far back as 10 years. Now the social security administration says there is no cost of living increase for the past two years. Boy can these liars figure. I guess us retirees are not suppose to drive anywhere or buy food. Welp, when they got ya by the gonads, what cha gonna do?

Well people need to band together . With over 98,000 members, it could be a start. Probably lots of other forums out there that would probably jump on board with this out of control thing. Who wants to lead?:confused2:

I think taking the sulfur out costs 40 cents a gallon. That is why it cost more than gas today.
