Massey Ferguson 35 with 3 cylinder Perkins AD3.152 engine. Had a bad oil leak coming from weephole under the tractor. So I split tractor and remove clutch and flywheel and adaptor plate. There I find the rear oil seal cover assy broken in 2 places. So thats where my oil leak was coming from but why did it break? Well the crankshaft end play was .146 thousanths and suppose to be .03-.015 I believe. I removed the oil pan and the rear main bearing cap.The thrust bushings were worn thin and started eating into the cap and block just a little. What is the correct way for these thrust bushing to be installed? any help is appreciated
