I noticed the new 2320s have 3 holes in the lift arms and lift arms connectors that have 3 holes each. This provides at least about 9 combinations of lift heights, etc. to choose from.

In looking at the lift arms on my 4010, I find 2 lift holes in the lift arms on it. The arms that go up to the hydraulic arms have only a single hole.

Don't recall anything in the owner's manual about selecting these different holes.

Does one just do them by trial and error?

Here's a picture attached that shows the extra holes on my 3 ph lift arms. The extra hole on the lift arm on the left side shown in the picture is inside of the one that the "Y forked" arm from the hydraulic arm is attached to. That Y forked arm on the 2320s have 3 holes available.

Ralph,

I had a 2320 and know if you change the setting from front to back in the arm your talking about the lift height at the implement changes quite noticeably, i.e., raises higher or lower depending on how you connect the links. Likewise, I suspect the strength changes as well of the lift capacity depending on where the links are placed, but not sure. Like yourself, I never saw anything in the owners manual about the positioning of these arms even after questioning two different dealers.

The draft selector is nice on the 2320s. It has a LONG travel with lots of graduations and has an adjustable stopper located off to the side that allows you to set how low the 3ph drops.

Wish I had that and the hood that opens forward to expose everthing, including the battery.

I just changed the hole setting on my 2320 today. I backed up and the 'I' match with BB attached hit the ground as I was backing through a ditch. So I pulled forward and raised the link arm to the middle of three holes. I figure that you can adjust it for each implement as needed. I probably could have used the top hole for the BB but didn't need to raise it that high. I think the three holes just give you flexibility. It's a nice set up.
