Picked up 37" forks and rail body from a local fork lift repair shop a while ago, finally got around to adapting it to my 3PH and added a hitch reciever.
Here are pics trying it out. 1st pic is 14 retaining wall blocks that are 86lbs each, the pallet had 18 of them but the front end came off the ground, so i put 4 of the blocks into the FEL. Ran out of daylight in pic 3. Still have to weld up a back-guard a maybe a hook or 2.
very nice job Ditzel, heavy dute forks they will get the job done for a long time to come.I see your with a electric utility ,my son is lineman for Garland Power & Light here in Texas.
Very nice having the quick mount and ability to adjust forks. Around here I stopped at a few places for used forks and you'd think they were made of gold with the price they quoted me so I made my own a while back. This last weekend I re-made mine similar to jwaynejtx. Pics in his post.
