:confused:Will I damage my 2816HST if I leave the finish mower up when I put it away?

I doubt it. However, if the family pet crawls underneath it for a nap, it could be squished if the mower gradually sinks to the ground.

May I ask why you would want to leave it up? As AchingBack said. probably no damage, but what purpose do you have in leaving it up? It surely is not a safe thing to do. :confused3:

I have a 3yr old that loves daddy's tractor. I always set the loader and rear att. to the ground just in case.

I have a 6' blower that I leave on it and up all winter. If I set it down, it sometimes freezes to the ground because it's parked outside. I've seen no negative effects. In the summer with the kids playing around it, I always leave the attachments grounded though as others have said for safety reasons.

I've always heard that leaving it up will stress the hydrolic cylinders. On top of that there is always the chance it will loose pressure and drop suddenly and who knows what might be under it when it goes. Could be your foot/pet or even your BEER :)
