3 point hitch 5th wheel mover

Hi I have a 5th wheel Cougar RV and I was wondering if anyone moves their 5 th wheel with their tractor any info would be great Thanks sleepydeere

I do not use my Kubota to move my fifth wheel because it is too heavy, but 2 nearby dealers both have Kubotas with a 3 point adapter to move the units around everyday.

I'd say depends on tractor and 5th wheel trailer size. Not uncommon to have a pin weight of 2,000lbs, can your tractor take that? Mine would flip over.

I think the dry weight of my tractor IS 2000 lbs!

Gooseneck movers are common... never heard of a 5er mover. Anybody got pics?

Hi my 26' gear box toy hauler is a tagalong, with just over a 1000 lbs tongue wt ,and I moved it with the loader with a quick link, it moved it better with the 3point hitch. my new 5th wheel rv has a pin wt of 1200 lbs I think the 2 rv's are abt the same. I move on just about flat ground. when I was younger my dad had a 110 jd 8hp we moved his tandem axle rv that weighed 3500lbs total wt of trailer, it was 16' long, and it was on just about flat ground, I would not try this on a hill with any thing I have said here

I have a three point hitch attachment that I use for moving trailers. It has a ball lower down for the bumper pulls and a ball welded on top for the goosenecks. I just slip about a four inch long piece of pipe over the gooseneck ball and I can move the fifth wheels easy enough.

I have a ball welded on top of my bale spear. I move goosenecks this way. It's also how I haul hay in from field with just one tractor and myself. Sure you could modify it to work on a 5th wheel.
