My apologies to you all for not responding to your replies. I didn't realize that I had responses or even recall that I had made the post, but that is another story...
At the time the dropping 3 point was more of an annoyance than something that was causing real problems, but as always there are new issues.
The 3 point continues to sometimes drops overnight when parked. Also, the scv, when used to raise a 3 pt mounted implement like a disc mower to the headlands position, will release pressure and allow the scv connected implement to slowly drop.
The most serious development though is that the steering will not work at all until the tractor is at operating temperature. after that, it works normally.
I am not aware of any issues with the brakes although since the tractor cant be driven until it is fully warmed up, who knows.
It has been suggested to me that it is probably not the main pump since it would be pumping oil even when cold. The suspicion is that it might be the main relief valve instead, since the entire system is affected. I thought I might get some comments before doing a $550.00 experiment.
There is a fresh service on the hydraulics including cleaning the sump screen.
