I've noticed my three point hitch is making a loud noise when I raise it sometimes but only when it's under stress. It makes a loud whinning noise (sometimes) when I have a few hundred pounds on it and raise it. It makes me wonder if there is a problem with the flow of the hydraulic fluid. The reason I mention this is because I noticed it first when my power beyond was hooked up to my log splitter improperly. The fluid was not able to return to the tractor. I immediately shut it down when I heard the noise and found the problem. The connection was not good with the hoses quick connect. Everything works very well, but it makes a noise especially when it's near the top height of the 3pth. The noise is not very noticeable when I have the rpms higher. I've checked the fluid level and it's fine. I checked it when cold and hot. The manual indicates it should be checked when cold. That's what I'm going with and it's fine. Is there something wrong?
