Hi Everyone, I have a 2006 Kubota L4330-HSTC I use just for snow removal. Today I put the Ballast box on the three point hitch, and have a stupid question........on the three point hitch, the two lower arms (no top link) that attach to the each side of the ballast box, each arm has a "spring" lever on top , what do these do? They are "square" do they have anything to do with adjustments? are they suppose to "lock" Hope this made sense,,, thanks!

I mean a "spring" lever on top of each "lower" arm, the may be located 4-6" off where ballast box attaches, I will try to take pics Sunday, thanks for the quick response

You have telescopic lift arms. They make hooking up implements easier. They are nice if you are not backed up close enough or a little crooked.

Push down on the spring loaded part and pull out on the lift arm to extend them.

No need for the pics. They are telescopeing lower links. They are designed to ease hooking up to your implement. Back up to within an inch or so of the implement pins. Press the levers down, use your foot on top if they are balky, then pull out the telescoping ends. Be sure to pull the pin out of your telescoping sway bars so that you can swing the telescoping lower link to the side to clear the implement pin. Once you are on both pins back up the tractor a few inches and you will hear a click click as both telescoping lower links lock back into place. Put the sway bar pins in the proper holes to center you implement. You may need to raise the lift after you get your top link on to get them lined up correctly. I can only imagine the unbridled joy you will experience upon executing this hookup.
